Manhart upgrades Toyota GR Supra to a higher spec

While Toyota Corporation is still thinking whether it should release a hotter “GRMN” version of the GR Supra, German tuner Manhart has already released a whole package of options for the sporty coupe.

It is called the GR 550 and lifts the output of the 3.0-liter turbo six-pot under the hood to 550 PS (542 hp / 405 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. It becomes possible thanks to upgrade turbocharger and radiator kits, a carbon-fiber air intake and a stainless-steel FI Exhaust with optional downpipes.

In addition to this, Supra owners can go for 20-inch Manhart Concave One wheels with spacers for a wider track, a lowering kit (both springs and coilovers available) and a carbon aero kit. The latter includes a towering rear wing, a rear diffuser, a front splitter and side skirts with built-in aerodynamic fins. Matching side mirror covers and taillight housings are available at a premium. and Manhart will even retrim the interior for those interested.

The options listed above are already on sale in Europe. The engine kit costs a minimum of €12,000, and you will have to part with roughly €7,200 extra for the exhaust system and the downpipes. The body kit adds €13,500 to the total, the cheapest wheels come in at €3,070, and the drop in ride height could cost you up to €3,100.
