Toyota truck looks weird-bit-sorta-nice with BMW front fascia

A team of Career Tech students has come up with a Frankenstein vehicle that has most of its body borrowed from the Mk1 Toyota Tacoma (see video) and the front end transplanted from a 34-year old BMW 3-Series. The live debut is expected soon at a show in Alabama.

The donor pickup came out in 2001 and the 3-Series way back in 1987. Both were wrecked in an accident, so the Career Tech team decided to salvage the parts and combine them into one car. This is how the U.S.-made truck ended up with a BMW front. Note especially the skull graphics in the vacant headlight niches and BMW badges still found on the hood and the hubcaps.
