Toyota has already shown us the exterior of its updated Tundra TRD, but never showed the cabin except for a single close-up shot of the infotainment system. Today, spy photos exposing the cockpit have finally leaked online.
Interestingly, while the official teaser pic showed a rather large and floating infotainment display, the new photos reveal a much smaller screen built into the front panel. In all likelihood, the company was testing a lower trim level this time around. Note also the analog dashboard and the abundance of physical controls, both hinting at a wallet-friendly trim.
It is official that just like its predecessor, the next-gen Tundra will ship with an openable rear window, a panoramic glass roof, and a leather cabin. It will make use of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 415 PS (409 hp / 305 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque in its Land Cruiser 300 implementation.
The premiere date remains unannounced, but should be expected later this year.
