The Japanese car manufacturer will be bringing its GR Yaris hot hatch to the Tokyo Auto Salon opening on January 10, 2020.
The company points out that it will not be showing us everything. The car will wear the same red/black/white wrap as its test mule did.
Rumor has it that the GR Yaris will emerge in a strictly limited series sporting wider fenders, new radiator grille, and an extreme rally-themed body kit.
The production hatchback comes equipped with a 1.8-liter IC engine rated at 209 hp (156 kW). The performance version will likely up the ante with a much stronger engine and AWD.
