The compact-sized, three-cylinder 2020 Toyota Yaris doesn’t really feel comfortable on the highway, let alone the racetrack. Its recently introduced GR cousin is much better off, however, and this video is the best proof.
A tuner from Australia took this RHD Yaris and fitted it with a Maxx Performance cat-back exhaust system, a K&N performance air filter, and Weds TC105X alloys measuring 18x9.5 inches on both axles. If there were other mods, we don’t have the details, unfortunately.
The hot hatch then hit the Heathcote Park Raceway and zapped past the finish line in just 12.84 seconds, accelerating to 169 km/h (105 miles per hour) as it did so. Not bad for a Yaris, don’t you think?
