The Toyota GR Yaris surely counts among the most interesting hot hatchbacks of our time, so there is little wonder it is so wildly popular. The owner of this particular example from Wiltshire, England, felt like capitalizing on that trend.
The Precious Black car boasts a pre-installed Circuit Pack and has around 70 miles (113 km) under its belt, which puts it into the “almost new” category. It comes in at an asking price of £42,500. When the hatchback finally becomes available in Great Britain, this particular spec will be available from £33,495. The owner does not specify what justifies the £9,005 premium, so we are going to assume he/she just wants to profiteer from the resale.
Included in the Circuit Pack mentioned above are Torsen differentials, track-friendly suspension tweaks, and 18-inch BBS Forged rims instead of the regular alloys.
Powering theGR Yaris is the G16E-GTS turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 1.6 liters of displacement, six-speed M/T and AWD. The car needs 5.5 seconds to get going at 5.5 seconds and maxes out upon hitting 230 km/h (143 mph). Extensive use of lightweight materials enable it to weigh as little as 1,280 kg (2,822 lbs), which translates into 4.9 kilograms per horsepower.
