Toyota Yaris GR gets its long-awaited H&R lowering springs

The Yaris GR is every bit as angry as it is small: weighing in at around 1.3 metric tons (2,866 lbs), it hits the wheels with 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW) and reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in five seconds flat. With the new H&R springs, it looks even more badass and should handle like a dream ride.

The lowering kit is compatible with all AWD Yaris GR configurations released in 2020 or later and outfitted with the optional High Performance Package. The drop amounts to 35 mm (1.4 inches) on both axles, translating into more intuitive handling and reduced side rolling. The exterior also wins a couple extra style points for the stance – watch the attached short video and look and the pictures to get an idea.

The full kit costs €280. Also available are H&R Trak+ wheel spacers starting from €77/axle.
