Can a tiny Toyota Yaris, even in its sportiest guise, truly oppose Porsche’s 718 Cayman? No, not really. But the example in this video has been tuned to the hilt and packs even more power than its rival does.
Tuners have fitted the urban car with a new air intake system, improved catalysts, a sports exhaust, and an extensive ECU tune that drove its output to 320 PS (316 hp / 235 kW). This sounds even more impressive when you consider that the car still holds on to its standard 1.6-liter, three-cylinder turbo.
As for the Cayman, it commands 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) straight from the factory. Do you think the extra 20 horsepower would be enough for the Yaris to outpace its rival?
