If you know two things about cars, you will immediately point out that the Toyota GR Yaris and the BMW M4 are entirely different cars with the former not holding much of a candle to the latter.
You could even go farther than that and claim that the GR Yaris is exactly half the car the BMW is. See for yourself: half the cylinder count, half the turbo count, nearly half the displacement, and about half the power. In European horses, the Yaris delivers 262 PS to the wheels, while its Bavarian rival produces north of 500 PS.
Does the Toyota have anything approaching a fair chance in a drag race, then? Actually, yes. It weighs a whopping 408 kilos (900 pounds) less and benefits from four driven wheels (ergo, better traction).
