Suspension designer H&R has come up with a couple of track-friendly lowering kits for the Toyota Yaris GR, endowing the hot hatch with sportier looks and handling.
The upgrade comes in variants named Monotube and Clubsport. Both drop the ride height by 25-45 mm (1”-1.8”) on both axles, but the former only allows you to adjust height, while the latter adds stiffness to the list. In addition to it, the Clubsport comes with more robust support bearings made of aluminum for the front axle and is generally tweaked to be as stiff as possible for track driving. The former costs €1,623, and the latter comes in at €3,386.
Buyers can also consider Trak+ wheel spacers, basic lowering springs (fixed height), and flexible stabilizers for both axles (High Performance Package required). All prices are available at H&R upon request.
