The Dongfeng-Nissan factory in China has started the production of the new Venucia VX6. Both the design and the electric powertrain of the SUV have been developed by the Chinese company with only little assistance from Nissan, the press release states.
The model is 4,658 mm long, 1,890 mm wide and 1,656 mm tall with 2,850 mm between the axles. The wheels are 19 inches large.
The recently popular headlight design – two tiers with a connecting strip – is used here as well. The company says it prioritized interior space over style, so there is very little visual noise in the cabin. The canter console is basically non-existent, while the transmission tunnel has a ‘floating’ look and lacks buttons.
For the time being, the only version on sale has a single electric motor and 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW). The company promises to reveal more later.
