Tiny Home Tours has posted a new camper review on YouTube that’s worth a look if you ever considered buying one. What used to be a school bus became a comfort-laden home on wheels for a family of five.
The base vehicle is a 2004 International bus sporting a minimalist design inside and out. It has a wide couch and a bar stand inside, with enough storage under the couch for all kinds of belongings and even more thanks to the wall-hanging cabinets. A very spacious fridge, a stovetop and a large, deep kitchen sink are not absent, either.
A pop-up top helps maintain the sense of space and freedom, but the owners admit it was the most challenging part to do right. The camper also has a bathroom on board and custom-made bunk beds.
The family decided to keep most of the bus’s original windows intact in the back to ensure that the main bedroom is adequately lit. Solar panels on the roof provide up to 2000W of power in sunny weather, and the batteries on board can accumulate enough for several days living out in the wild without so much as a concern.
