Building a Lego brick model is an art in itself, requiring a certain degree of precision and a sense of realism. But designing complex mechanisms and systems is far more challenging still, which is why we are genuinely astonished at what YouTuber Beyond the Brick did in his latest video.
The footage begins with a demonstration of a giant inline-six engine featuring functional pistons and a valve mechanism. The whole thing is envisioned by its creator as a two-stroke propulsion machine for a massive Lego ship, hence the ladders for the toy sailors to climb when they need to service the block.
Make sure you watch the entire video to find a review of this gargantuan IC engine and two others. The realism is so striking, you can forget for a moment that the components are toy bricks.
