Talented carpenter and popular YouTuber known as ND Woodworking Art has posted a new video where he shows a highly detailed wooden replica of the STRV 103, a Swedish military tank from the World of Tanks video game, which he had built for his son.
The build started with a stainless-steel frame and rubber wheels. The author then installed an electric motor and a pair of tracks driven by a chain-and-sprocket drive, ending up with a fully functional tank chassis.
He then added a metal frame and trimmed it with wooden body panels meticulously crafted to resemble those of the STRV 103. He even paid special attention to detailing the gas tanks and the shovels (also out of wood).
The video ends with some footage of the father and his happy son test-driving the tank in a rural area in Vietnam.
