Tuner Carlex Design and artist Jeral Tidwell have recently unveiled an original take on the Volkswagen T6 van. The car looks like it rolled straight off a heavy metal album cover.
For those who haven’t been paying attention, Jeral Tidwell is a popular artist who has painted posters for numerous heavy metal and punk rock bands. Just as the genre dictates, his works often featured various skulls. This Volkswagen T6 is no exception.
The artist has drawn a huge skull between the rear fender and the roof. Carlex Design has contributed a decent-looking body kit consisting of extended side skirts, air intakes, reworked front fascia, new side mirror cups, a spoiler, a diffusor, bumpers and exhaust pipes.
Low stancing (-20 mm / -0.7 in) and a set of Pirelli P Zero tires further add to the menacing appearance of the restyled van.
The same skull theme carries over into the interior of the van. The seats bear the same yellow/black skull embroidery, while the rest is trimmed with leather and Alcantara. The regular steering wheel has been replaced with a flat-bottomed one, and the stock floor mats gave way to Jeral Tidwell-branded ones.
Carlex Design didn’t say anything about the price of the job.
