Volkswagen lines up three Atlases for SEMA premiere

Volkswagen AG will be unveiling three custom projects based on the Atlas/Teramont SUV chassis at the SEMA expo opening in a few hours. Each car sports its own set of accessories.

The first specimen, called Adventure, comes bundled with a Dji Mavic drone equipped with an action camera, Baja Designs lighting, and a roof rack that unfolds into a full-fledged camping tent. H&R suspension springs grant it extra ride height.

The other one, co-designed with Thule, also sports a roof tent, as well as 20-inch Vossen wheels, a lift kit, and off-road rubber.

The final show car is the Atlas Basecamp, which is already familiar to many of us (watch the video if you don’t remember). While not entirely new per se, it will showcase the latest fifteen52 wheel design that still isn’t even in production yet.
