Volkswagen says the production version of its ID. Buzz Concept will hit the showrooms in 2022 under the name ‘ID.7’. It will allegedly pack 600 km (373 miles) of range, measurement protocol unknown.
The original I.D. Buzz Concept, which is depicted on the video, has celebrated its public debut at the Detroit Motor Show two years ago. The van came powered by dual electric motors rated at 364 hp (271 kW) and had a 111-kWh battery. Its cabin offered seats for eight people, and you could fold or move some of the seats to rearrange the cabin space to your liking. It also an autopilot feature.
According to unofficial sources, the upcoming Volkswagen ID.7 will be available in three trim versions with different range; prices will allegedly begin from €45,000.
