“As if shaped by the wind itself” – this is what Volkswagen has to say to us today about its impending production SUV named ID.4. The premiere remains set for this fall.
The automaker went as far as to sketch up some new images of the car, but the otherwise commendable attempt fell flat: we already have plenty of spy pics showing barely-clad ID.4 prototypes, to say nothing of the camo-free pics posted by the China Patent Office.
The only interesting bit of information revealed today is that the EV has a drag coefficient as low as 0.28.
The Volkswagen ID.4 comes based on the MEB architecture and will initially be available in a RWD version. AWD will become available later, and range on a charge will amount to 500 km (310 miles) in both cases.
