Volkswagen plans to introduce a new electric car in 2023 that rumors claim goes by the temporary name of ‘Aero B’. Judging by these spy shots, it still has a long way to go.
The EV is expected to be based on a modified version of the MEB platform and to offer AWD in all specifications except for the entry level, which is going to be rear-wheel drive. A range-topping GTX variant is also expected to come out with a standard sprint time of 5.6 seconds and no less than 644 kilometers (400 miles) of WLTP-rated driving range.
As for the photos, the car continues hiding beneath smart camo that manages to conceal its true shape, as well as radiator grille and lighting design.
