Volkswagen is going to reveal an all-new battery-driven I.D. Vizzion concept vehicle at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. The car is going to be self-driving and, if the official teaser video is to be believed, capable of displaying 3D holographic images in its interior.
The new Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion lacks the steering wheel and pedals; instead, it can be controlled by gestures or voice commands. It is also being marketed as the trendsetter in the design of all future VW automobiles and, being over 5 meters (16 ft.) long, appears rather bulky.
The Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion gets an electric engine rated at above 300 hp and a theoretical driving range of 650 kilometers (that’s around 400 miles). Its compact car version will enter mass production in 2020, followed by the minivan, the SUV, and the executive car versions.
