The VW R-Line upgrade package will be made available for the Volkswagen Arteon liftback which debuts at the New York International Auto Show on March 28, 2018. The release coincided with the announcement of a high-end Arteon R.
Let’s get down to the specifics. The Volkswagen Arteon R-Linе gets new bumpers, a black spoiler, and optional 19” and 20” special wheel sets to choose from. On the inside, there is a brand-new, racing-grade steering wheel, decorative pedal pads, and kick plates.
In terms of performance, the Volkswagen Arteon R-Linе gets a 2.0-liter V4 capable of 280hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and an all-wheel drive.
The performance-packed Volkswagen Arteon R is going to be released with a 3,0-liter V6 engine manufacturer-rated at 410hp.
