Volkswagen has unilaterally severed agreements with the trade unions of six German industrial enterprises since the beginning of the fall.
Facing the urgent need to cut around €10,000,000,000 in costs, the Wolfsburg company now plans to shut down three factories in Germany dismissing their entire staff. Only two factories had been featured in the previous reports.
The workers employed at other industrial sites, including those outside of Germany, are still facing major salary cuts. In doing so, the desperate VW hopes to save another €4,000,000,000.
