Volkswagen AG has finally revealed the main details concerning its newest subcompact SUV, the T-Cross. The vehicle will be available starting this autumn and ship with a choice among five different trim levels and four engines.
The European edition of the Volkswagen T-Cross will ship with two one-liter, three cylinder engines rated at 95 and 115 hp (71 and 85 kW), a 1.5-liter TSI engine with 150 hp (112 kW), and a 1.6-liter diesel with 95 hp (71 kW). Transmission choices will encompass manual (five- / six-speed) and semi-automatic.
Options will include a 300W Beats audio system, four USB ports, a wireless phone charger, a touch-enabled multimedia system, and a digital instrument panel.
The minimum trunk volume equals 455 liters, but goes up to 1,281 liters with the rear seat row collapsed. You can also move the seats up to 150 mm (6 inches) forward for a little extra bit of space.
