The German company has
released two special modifications of the Amarok pickup truck. One of them is
conceptual - Aventura Exclusive, and the other is Dark Label.
Let's start with Volkswagen
Amarok Aventura Exclusive. The pickup is based on the top version of the model
- Aventura, which is equipped with a six-cylinder diesel engine of 3.0 liters, generating
224 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. The power of the prototype engineers
increased to 258 "horses".
In addition, the concept
received a special body color Turmeric Yellow Metallic, lockable cargo
platform, bi-xenon headlights and exclusive 19-inch wheels. And in the interior
of Aventura Exclusive there is a rear-view camera, a navigation system and
black leather armchairs with electric adjustment.
As for the limited edition
version of the Amarok Dark Label, it received a matte body color with dark
accents and a set of unique 18-inch wheel rims. Under the hood of the car are
diesel V6 units generating 163 or 204 horsepower. They work with a six-speed
manual or with an eight-band "automatic".
It is not clear yet whether
the modification of Aventura Exclusive will go into mass production. And
Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label already knows that its sales will start in the
spring of 2018. The cost of the pickup will start from 33,200 euros.
The public debut of new
products will take place the other day as part of the International Auto Show
in Frankfurt.
