Delta4x4 undertakes to turn 2023 Volkswagen Amarok into a Beast

Volkswagen has no intention to produce a performance version of the new Amarok pickup, so German off-road vehicle specialist Delta 4x4 will fill in the niche with its own offer, dubbed the Beast. Here are some sketches of the truck.

According to Motor1, the aftermarket company plans to redesign the exterior and improve the undercarriage while leaving the drivetrain in stock condition. The suspension upgrades should raise the clearance by whopping 15 centimeters (6 inches). Off-road tires, flared fenders and beadlock-protected wheels sized either 18 or 20 inches across will also be included.

Elsewhere, the project adds a heavy-duty front bumper, a roll bar above the bed and a winch. An expedition rack appears on the roof along with an LED light rack. Another LED strip will be mounted on the front bumper.

While not official, Delta4x4 will most likely work with the high-end diesel version of the Amarok truck. Depending on the modification, the 3.0-liter diesel V6 can produce either 241 or 250 horsepower.

The new 2023 VW Amarok (see video) is essentially a clone of the Ford Ranger as far as the platform and engines are concerned.
