VW Amarok gets aftermarket suspension parts in Europe

The tuner team over at Delta4x4 has devised an upgrade package called Beast 2.0 for the latest Volkswagen Amarok, which is largely identical to the U.S.-spec Ford Ranger. Among other things, the kit lets the mid-size truck gain between 100 and 170 mm (3.9 and 6.7 inches) of ground clearance.

Replacing the springs yields the minimum lift. Spacers add another 50 mm (2 inches) or so, and the rest of the height comes from 33-inch BF Goodrich tires. Those who want the most from their off-road truck may go for 35-inch tires instead, Delta4x4 says.

To fit the jumbo wheels in their respective arches, the tuner flares them by 60 mm (2.4 inches) on either side. Stock wheels also get replaced with 18-inch aftermarket rims in black. Rounding off the package are new side steps and a radiator grille with built-in DRLs.

The whole package costs approximately €10,200, but you can order all parts separately. The wheels and tires alone come in at €2,900, for example. The installation is not included.
