In the meantime, independent designers use this as an opportunity to present their own vision of what the model update of the popular pickup truck might look like. According to an unconfirmed insider source, the new Volkswagen Amarok will retain its body-on-frame construction. It should enter the market with lots of modern on-board equipment and digital features that would enable it to withstand the competition posed by other similar pickup models in its market niche.
The history of the current-generation Volkswagen Amarok dates back to 2010 when its initial concept was revealed. The car itself went on sale two years ago.
