The German car tuning house BBM Motorsport has revealed their take on the Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck. The vehicle now sports a revamped body design and feels more at home in off-road environments.
Exterior improvements include new 18-inch wheels clad in Cooper STT Pro tires, a complete LED lighting set, a rooftop rack and vivid vinyl wrapping.
For better off-road capabilities, BBM Motorsport suggest retrofitting the Volkswagen Amarok with a new suspension kit for 100 mm (4”) more suspension travel, 40 mm (1.55”) greater ride height and 30 mm (1.17”) broader wheel spacing. Options include roomier wheel housings, a new engine intake pipe and a bottom guard plate.
Finally, there is an engine performance upgrade which, once installed, improves the performance of the stock engine by 40 hp (30 kW) and 70 Nm (52 lb·ft) of torque.
The entire set is available at a hefty €20,000. For comparison, a new Volkswagen Amarok can be bought in Germany at between €32,000 and €58,000.
