Websites and blogs dedicated to car tuning news have been posting many obviously photoshopped pics of unrealistically short cars lately. So it should not come off as too surprising that, when we saw this VW Beetle, we thought it would be a 100% fake, just like the others. Well, color us surprised!
This is an actual road-going car that was captured on a video camera in Qatar. Whoever built the mod decided to ditch the front seat row, only leaving the rear sofa inside. As a result, both the driver and the front passenger now actually sit on the backseat. Clever, huh?
The German vehicle lost around 35% of its total length, making it surprising that is still retains its drivetrain and remains street-legal. This, and we have to admit it is a bit painful watching the driver trying to squeeze in and out of the cabin using that miniature door...
