Volkswagen has announced the Mini-Camper version of its Caddy van. The car seems to pack everything to cover your basic needs during long road trips, including a two-meter bed.
Aside from a dimmable panoramic sunroof, the driver will benefit from a number of electronic aids, such as adaptive cruise control, trailer assist, and door opening warning for when other cars may be approaching from behind.
The special edition will ship with a 2.0L diesel engine available in 75hp, 102hp and 122hp versions (56, 76 and 91 kilowatts, respectively). A 116hp (87kW) gasoline turbo will also be on offer, and you will be able to choose between six-speed manual and seven-gear DCT for transmission.
The regular Caddy (shown in the video here) changed generations this winter, receiving the largest number of updates on the record so far.
