It’s been a while since Clinched released a wide body kit for the 5th-generation Volkswagen Golf, but. as turns out, the tuner house is quite dedicated to releasing upgrades for cars that are far from new. The latest example is this option package for the VW Golf Mk4.
Aside from the traditional fender flares with exposed bolts, the compact vehicle received a front splitter, side skirt extensions and a rear apron. It also now boasts a set of BBS R888 wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 tires.
The atelier removed all logos from the car body, got rid of the unaesthetic rear window washer and upgraded the suspension. The car now rides on air, but you may opt for a cheaper variant, too.
Inside, the novelty comes in the form of a roll cage, a Royal steering wheel made of natural wood, bucket seats with Sparco safety belts and a few other premium features.
Last but by no means least, Clinched offers a new intercooler and a custom exhaust system which should result in better overall performance.
