Shortly after sighting a barely disguised Volkswagen Golf Variant wagon, car spotters have photographed it yet again – this time riding next to the off-road-capable Alltrak version.
The car sports high ground clearance and has its bumpers and lights wrapped in camo. The body kit is made of plastic, and the engine palette is most likely the same as the regular Golf Mk8. The Alltrak will use a DSG transmission and ship with optional AWD. It remains to be seen whether it will debut in sports car and hybrid variants; if so, it should inherit the powertrain of the Skoda Octavia Combi RS iV.
Both wagons are set to launch later this year, accompanied by two hot hatches: Golf GTI TCR and Golf R.
