These unofficially published shots reveal what looks like a special edition of the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport built to celebrate 45 years of that model.
The car flaunts side sill decals that say ‘45’, a chrome removal package, Anthracite Grey wheels, a black spoiler, and a sporty Akrapovic exhaust.
Nothing is said about the interior or tech, but one can speculate that there is going to be a new trim, assorted ornamental details and the like. A 2.0-liter turbo-four is expected under the hood, pumping out around 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels via a seven-speed DSG box.
What remains unknown is when the special edition debuts for real.
