CarBuzz has posted a low-res photo of what looks like the upcoming Volkswagen Golf facelift. The pic of the car expected to debut in late 2023 was allegedly snapped during a press conference.
The car in the image looks very similar to the Golf prototypes recently spotted on the roads. It has the same outlines and lighting, but slightly different bumper at the front, suggesting that it could be an R-Line spec.
For the interior, we know that there will be a large center display with HVAC sliders on a ‘shelf’ below. The dashboard will also be completely digital.
The new Golf will no longer be obtainable with manual transmission. To compensate, Volkswagen plans to offer it with a wide selection of powertrains, some of which, if not all, the company pledged to improve in time for the next model year.
