Prior Design dreams up a body kit for the 2021 VW Golf GTI

The Mk8 Volkswagen Golf GTI should prove just as much of a market hit as all of its predecessors, and Prior Design isn’t a tuner to miss a profit opportunity.

The new widebody kit only exists on virtual 3D renderings so far, and the company says it will consider production if the demand is sufficient. Even so, we are pretty certain the package will go on sale sooner or later. The fact that you can fit the same parts on the electric GTE, the diesel-powered GTD and the hot-hatchy Golf R makes it a tempting production target.

Included in the kit are a modified front bumper with a large air intake and splitter, flared fenders, extended side skirts, and a rear end with an aggressive-looking diffuser and side vents.

Other unmissable highlights include a large roof spoiler and a considerably lowered stance. As for the wheels, Prior Design never fails to offer a handful of in-house options.
