Tuning the Golf GTI is a good old tradition that can be traced back several decades. Countless companies around the world keep churning out aftermarket options and accessories for the popular hot hatch, and Bastuck is no exception.
The latest addition to the list is this performance-oriented exhaust system. Customers can choose from two versions, specifically, with an active valve and without. Both replace the OEM exhaust completely and culminate in two stainless-steel tailpipes. You can opt for wider-diameter, beveled or carbon-look finisher tips if you want to. The integrated valve automatically opens at 70 km/h (43.5 mph) and above, very noticeably changing the engine tune.
The company says the upgrade is compatible with the Golf GTI and GTI Clubsport, and the latter even gains 3.3 horsepower (2.5 kilowatts) along with 8.6 Newton-meters (6.3 lb-ft) of torque from it.
