The video shows a non-stock Volkswagen Golf 8 R flexing its muscle on a speed-unrestricted suburban highway.
German tuner HGP took care to boost the stock four-cylinder turbo to 526 PS (519 hp / 387 kW) and 629 Nm (464 lb-ft) of torque. This became possible thanks to a new turbocharger, exhaust system, intercooler and a host of other performance parts. To curb the power, 380mm ceramic brake rotors were installed along with 19-inch OZ wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zeros.
The run took place late in the night, when the autobahn was nearly vacant. The hatchback snapped from 100 to 200 km/h (62 to 124 mph) in just 7.5 seconds and proceeded to hit a ridiculous top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). Make sure you see it for yourself!
