The Volkswagen factory in Emden, Germany has begun large-scale production of the large electric liftback known as the ID.7.
The company celebrated this milestone with a festive ceremony at the industrial complex, where VW Passat, Arteon and ID.4 are also being made. The first ID.7 units will be delivered to dealerships in Europe before the end of the autumn, but the company has not revealed any pricing yet – not even domestic.
The German-made ID.7 will also be exported to North America. Production in China will be localized at FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC-Volkswagen joint enterprises.
