Tuned-up VW ID. Buzz looks ready for some limited overlanding

German tuning company Seikel has rolled out an upgrade package for the Volkswagen ID.Buzz, claiming that the all-electric minivan is fit for some moderate off-roading with a few tweaks here and there.

The modifications include Eibach springs, KW Suspension shocks and aluminum undercarriage guards all around. The tuner highlights that the standard ID.Buzz ships with unreliable plastic motor guards, and argues that aluminum should be a much better option for keeping rocks out of the powertrain.

Complementing the build are custom 20-inch wheels shod in BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires. Once fully upgraded, Seikel’s ID.Buzz rides whopping 40 millimeters (1.6 inches) higher than stock.

Things stay stock in the e-motor department, with the two motors still driving their respective axles with a combined 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW).
