Three modded Volkswagen Jetta cars will represent Volkswagen AG at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las-Vegas, USA (October 30 – November 2, 2018).
The first one, called “Jetta S”, is a work of car enthusiast Jamie Orr. He started with a variant of Jetta equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. He lowered its suspension with the help of KW coilovers, installed a set of 20-inch Work Emotion T5R 2P wheels shod in Delinte DS8 tires and put the car in a unique 3D-printed body kit. He also replaced the stock seats with sports-grade ones from Recaro and redid the trimming.
The second Jetta was handled by suspension manufacturer H&R. The engineers took a high-end Jetta R-Line and upgraded it with new, heavy-duty brakes, H&R Street Performance coilover suspension and Trak+ wheel spacers. They decided against replacing the factory wheels, but instead wrapped those in Pirelli P Zero sports tires. To round things off, the Volkswagen Jetta by H&R gained a body kit developed by Air Design USA.
The latter tuner company also designed and built the third VW Jetta. The team drew most of its inspiration for the project from classical Golf/Jetta models from the 1980-90s. As a result, the car sports a complete aerodynamic package, a tri-color retro-style paintjob, a set of 19-inch TSW Hockenheim S vintage wheels, lowered suspension and performance brakes. Inside, the vehicle still offers plenty of modern safety and comfort-oriented features.
