Sales of the next-generation 2018 Volkswagen Jetta compact sedan have been officially launched in Mexico. The base trim can be purchased at what amounts to U.S. $17,600.
There are three specifications available: Comfortline, R-Line, and Highline. The main point to consider here is that all three ship with exactly the same 1,4-liter turbocharged engine on board capable of 150hp and 250 Nm of torque.
The base trim of the new 2018 Volkswagen Jetta gets LED lighting, exclusive 16-inch wheels, and a modern infotainment system. The top-of-the-line model adds ventilated seats, a handy rear view camera and lots of electronic steering assistants – but it comes with a price tag of U.S. $22,600.
The updated vehicle should see its North American market release closer towards this summer.
