Volkswagen AG has revealed the price range and detailed technical specifications of the 2018 Volkswagen Jetta compact car arriving on the U.S. market this summer. Five trims will be made available starting at U.S. $18,545 plus $850 destination fee.
Regardless of the specification, the new VW Jetta always ships with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine good for 147 hp (100 kW) and 249 Nm (184 lb·ft) of torque. It also gets LED lighting, a rear view camera, a modern infotainment system and a slew of other features for safe and pleasant ride experience.
The high-end Volkswagen Jetta SEL Premium comes priced at U.S. $26,945 and above. For those interested in this sort of thing, there will be two optional upgrade kits available, the Driver Assistance Package ($450) and the Cold Weather Package ($495).
