Volkswagen AG has published images of the third-generation Lavida Plus sedan model meant exclusively for the Chinese market. The vehicle will show up at the Beijing Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2018) and hit the showrooms in May.
The new Volkswagen Lavida Plus makes use of the module-based MQB platform. The entry-level model comes with LED headlights, climate control, cruise control, parking assistant, rear view camera, and an upo-to-date infotainment system with a large touch-sensitive display.
The Chinese Volkswagen Lavida Plus normally ships with a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine capable of 150 hp (112 kW). Other options include a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated unit and a 1.2-liter turbo, both good for 116 hp (86.5 kW).
