Volkswagen Commercial Cars has posted the first teaser image of its upcoming T7 Multivan, revealing a nose with a LED stripe connecting the headlights.
This could hint at the van being electrified. We have already seen earlier spy photos of a hybrid Multivan with the same light arrangement (refer to our gallery for more photos). Note also the hood cover, which is much narrower than that of the T.61 – likely for the same reason.
As such, we suspect that the new Multivan will ship with a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine assisted by an electric motor. An all-electric version is also possible.
