The German car concern Volkswagen AG has held an official premiere of its latest Passat GT sedan at the Detroit Motor Show 2018 in the U.S.A. The car should see its market release in summer.
Speaking of the details, the new 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT gets to keep pretty much all of the features of its prototype version, which debuted at the LA car show two years ago. It comes with a sports bumper and LED lighting in its base version and boasts stylish red and black accents throughout the body, chrome-coated exhaust pipes, and nice-looking 19-inch wheels.
The interior of the car makes use of carbon parts that lend it a highly modern appearance. The driver gets a sporty-looking wheel, an up-to-date infotainment system, and a large number of safety-oriented and steering assistance features.
The next-gen 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT ships with a 3.6L VR6 engine capable of 280 hp and 350 Nm torque.
The car will be issued in a limited series with prices starting at U.S. $29,090.
