For a long time, we have mainly associated the ‘GTI’ suffix with only one car on the market: the Volkswagen Golf. As time went by, however, the company expanded the GTI lineup to include the Lupo, up!, and Polo urban compacts. The tuners quickly caught on.
Our today’s guest is this 200hp (150-kW) Volkswagen Polo GTI styled by Barracuda Racing Wheels. The single greatest highlight of the build comes in the shape of Barracuda Tzunamee EVO 8×18 forged wheels with a Dark Gunmetal Brushed finish. The rims do an excellent job looking a couple sizes above their actual size thanks to their Deep Concave middle part (50 mm / 2 inches) and polished spoke tips.
8mm (0.3-inch) wheel spacers on the rear axle and H&R lowering springs ensure perfect positioning of the wheels within their respective arches.
