Volkswagen's auto parts division on the South American continent officially presented the new generation of the Virtus sedan, which is also known in the world as Polo Sedan. The ceremony of "acquaintance" with the novelty took place in Brazil, where it will be available at the beginning of next year.
Virtus created on the modular platform MQB-A0. By the way, the suspension, gear boxes, steering and other units borrowed the novelty from the European version of Polo, which was presented to the general public last summer.
While Virtus has only one engine in the line - a turbocharged liter "three", which produces 115 horsepower. In the future, a version with a 1.6-liter atmospheric unit with a capacity of about 120 horses will be available.
In the basic version, the driver will have at his disposal ABS and a stabilization system. In addition, for an additional fee, Virtus can receive a tire pressure monitoring system, a lift start assistance function, a digital instrument panel and other options.
