German dealership offering a used VW Polo for the price of a new Polo GTI

Auto Zitzmann, a car dealership based in Nürnberg, Germany, is currently selling a unique Volkswagen Polo hatchback belonging to the R WRC 2013 limited series. The strongest production Polo has 19,000 km (11,800 miles) under the belt and goes for €22,300.

The car is a road-legal conversion of the rally model of the same name. It emerged in a run of 2,500 units eight years ago.

The livery is white with grey and blue stripes running down the hood and side sills. The radiator grille, mirrors and rear spoiler are black for contrast. Other noteworthy features include 18-inch wheels, sports seats, sat-nav and Bi-Xenon headlights.

Powering the Polo rally car is a 2.0-liter twin-turbo engine burning gasoline for 220 hp (164 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is six-speed manual, getting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 6.4 seconds, and the top speed is 243 km/h (151 mph).
