Volkswagen AG has shared the first teaser pic of its refreshed Polo subcompact along with a premiere date: Thursday, April 22.
The pic shows some of the front fascia with headlights that appear slimmer than before and now divided in two sections. The daytime running lights sport a new pattern, and there is a glowing stripe running between the headlight units cutting the new VW logo in two. The radiator grille also looks mildly revamped.
Spy pics reveal more interesting details than that. The taillights remind us of the Golf Mk8, the tailgate looks more rounded than before, and the rear bumper with exhaust tips also looks different.
The interior remains a mystery so far, but new dashboard and infotainment are high on our list of expectations, as is a mild-hybrid powertrain.
