Volkswagen AG has released an all-black styling kit for the Tiguan mini-CUV, called the R-Line Black Style. The relatively minor upgrade tries to give the car some much-needed sportiness.
It includes new bumper-mounted air intakes, broader wheel arches, new mirror caps, roof railings and a roof spoiler. Wrapping up the changes are a set of 19-inch Sebring wheels, tinted side/rear windows and a new multifunction steering wheel.
The package comes without any kind of performance upgrades, even though the 150-horsepower (112-kW) engine of the car could probably use one.
The entire kit costs €3,365 in Europe.
